LEWA Improves the Performance of its ecoflow® Range

LEWA GmbH, a pioneer in the field of advanced diaphragm pumps, has improved the performance of its LEWA ecoflow LDH Boxer (LDHB) process pump by 20%, enabling operators to improve efficiency. The upgrade allows users to boost performance without resizing equipment or increasing system costs. For example, at a flow rate of 2,200 l/h, the maximum discharge pressure rises from 622 to 746 bar. Alternatively, at 75 bar, flow capacity increases from 18,000 to 21,600 l/h.

“Optimizing productivity in processing applications is a constant challenge. The boxer pump design is already very efficient, as one drive unit moves 2 pump heads. With the increase in performance, the LDHB provides twice as much hydraulic power compared to a single pump,” said Nicoline Walther, product manager for the LEWA ecoflow product range.

The upgrade reflects LEWA’s ongoing development of its ecoflow range and follows the 15% performance increase to the smaller LDG pump last year. The LDHB now extends these gains to higher-capacity applications with a 20% increase in hydraulic power from 38 to 46 kW.

The LDHB is part of the LEWA ecoflow range. This extensive modular system of diaphragm and packed plunger metering pumps combines numerous drive sizes and pump heads for high application flexibility. Multiple materials and valve type options mean ecoflow pumps are highly customisable and can be configured for demanding media, including aggressive, abrasive, or toxic fluids across energy, chemical and process industries.

Renowned for leak tightness, operational safety and reliability, LEWA ecoflow pumps provide the highest metering accuracy, even at high pressures. Their precise and reproducible flow rate can be adapted via stroke length and speed, offering a broad metering range of 1:100 for flexible adjustment to different tasks. Like all ecoflow pumps, the LDHB is backed by LEWA’s global spare parts and service availability, which ensures customers have total lifecycle support that guarantees maximum availability and a long service life.

“The upgraded LDH Boxer pump is a further step in expanding the performance envelope of our ecoflow range, but achieving excellence is about more than great technology. We support our customers from planning and commissioning to maintenance, repair and upgrading to ensure that our metering and process pumps consistently meet the application’s requirements and deliver the desired outcomes as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible,” concluded Ms. Walther.
