K.A. Group annonçait récemment la nomination de Daniel Pashniak en tant que nouveau président-directeur général, à l’issue d’un processus de recherche approfondi. Il remplacera Mike Palitsky, qui a annoncé en mai dernier son intention de se retirer de K.A. Group.

Monsieur Pashniak était auparavant vice-président et directeur général des compagnies aériennes et des flottes au sein de l’organisation StandardAero basée à Winnipeg, au Manitoba. Il continue également à siéger au conseil consultatif des Manufacturiers et Exportateurs du Canada.

Corbec annonçait récemment la nomination d’Hellen Christodoulou au poste de vice-présidente directrice, ingénierie, développement durable et développement des affaires. Elle dirigera l’expansion de l’entreprise à l’échelle nationale.

Hellen Christodoulou possède plus de 40 ans d’expérience dans le domaine des ponts et des grandes structures de ponts au Canada et aux États-Unis, entre autres dans la conceptualisation, la conception, la réhabilitation et la supervision de projets de grands ponts, y compris la conception de superstructures et d’infrastructures. Elle a travaillé pour le Canadien Pacifique – CPR et avec d’importantes sociétés d’ingénierie et de construction et tous les ordres de gouvernement.

Madame Christodoulou est également reconnue comme une experte judiciaire de premier plan dans le domaine de l’analyse judiciaire des ponts et des grands projets d’infrastructure. Elle occupait tout récemment le poste de directrice, développement du marché et de l’industrie de l’acier à l’Institut canadien de la construction en acier, un organisme technique de l’industrie de la construction en acier au Canada.

Fort d'une brillante carrière internationale dans l'industrie pétrolière et gazière, monsieur Naslausky a constamment démontré sa capacité à favoriser une croissance rentable et l'excellence opérationnelle.

Plus récemment, Andre Naslausky a été directeur général de Maha Energy Brazil, un producteur indépendant de pétrole et de gaz à terre récemment acquis par PetroReconcavo, où il a supervisé avec succès les zones de concession de la société au Brésil, notamment le champ Tie dans le bassin de Reconcavo et Tartaruga dans l'État de Sergipe. À ce titre, il a veillé à ce que les objectifs de production soient atteints en toute sécurité. Il a mis en œuvre des stratégies efficaces d'exploitation du pétrole et du gaz et a optimisé les dépenses d'investissement afin d'obtenir les meilleurs résultats en termes de coûts d'exploitation par baril. En outre, Andre Naslausky a dirigé les efforts visant à améliorer les opérations et les installations de production, à rationaliser les projets E&P et à maximiser la productivité et la capacité.

Avant de travailler pour Maha Energy, monsieur Naslausky était conseiller principal chez 3R Petroleum (3R Offshore), où il était responsable du développement de la production et des projets d'investissement d'une complexité et d'une valeur considérables. Il a joué un rôle essentiel dans la mise en place d'une nouvelle organisation et d'un nouveau bureau de gestion de projet, ainsi que dans la direction de l'évaluation technique et du comité de pilotage de l'appel d'offres pour Albacora.

CZM Foundation Equipment has hired Fabiano Jorge as the Rental Fleet manager. He will oversee the rental fleet, its preventive and corrective maintenance, and field staff.

Mr. Jorge has more than 25 years’ experience in the foundation equipment field. He previously held positions in operational and maintenance management for piling and equipment companies in Brazil. He implemented several systematic applications for fleet management and maintenance within those positions.

“Our rental fleet is growing, and we are happy to have Fabiano join us. His expertise and attention to detail will make our customer experience better. He has the leadership skills along with operational foresight to advance our fleet,” said Giuliano Clo, president, CZM.

Fecon LLC, a manufacturer of heavy-duty site preparation attachments and forestry accessories, recently announced Ray Dalton as the new vice president of aftermarket sales. In this newly created role, he will focus on growing the company’s successful aftermarket business while also developing new solutions and products based on customer and dealer input.

“Fecon clearly understands the importance of aftermarket sales and support to become a preferred brand,” said Ray Dalton. “It’s what attracted me to Fecon and has been a value that has always been at the heart of any role I served in.”

As the vice president of aftermarket sales, he will manage Fecon Connect, its online parts-ordering site, and lead the procurement and management of part inventory levels, including developing packages for key wear items. Mr. Dalton will also work directly with dealers to make sure inventory levels are stocked appropriately, and to develop aftermarket solutions that enhance Fecon’s products and offer a variety of benefits to a wide range of other hydraulic-powered products.

“Ray’s background gives him an incredible understanding of the aftermarket business and what is required to ensure customers have what they need, when they need it,” said Mark Middendorf, Fecon’s senior vice president of sales. “He will help Fecon continue to offer timely, high-quality parts for our customers and dealers while at the same time, helping us drive our vision for innovation of accessories and aftermarket solutions that enhance the performance and life of our products and other products our customers use.”

Ray Dalton gained valuable aftermarket experience in a previous role with The Shyft Group, Inc. and their Spartan RV Chassis brand where he developed an aftermarket brand, Red Diamond Aftermarket Solutions, and new aftermarket products. His career path began at the rental division of Carter Machinery in Virginia – at the time, the only CAT-owned dealer in the U.S. – where he learned the importance of truly listening to customers. The role offered him insight into a wide variety of fields, such as mining, road construction, electrical contracting, landscaping and more. Mr. Dalton plans to use his valuable knowledge and job history to push the creation of aftermarket products driven by market feedback.

“I want to use direct feedback from the customer base to discover what would be useful and then create those products,” said Ray Dalton. “My goal is to make Fecon their go-to for aftermarket solutions.”

Brown and Caldwell, a full-service environmental engineering and construction services firm with 52 offices across North America and the Pacific, recently announced it is expanding its funding and finance group as highly experienced Seema Chavan joins the firm as vice president and senior director of strategic funding.

With a 20-year background in the water and wastewater industry, Ms. Chavan is uniquely skilled in partnering with public utilities to identify, strategize, and secure federal, state, and local low-interest loan and grant opportunities. Her expertise includes the development of grant strategies, directing applications, coordinating with funding agency staff, supporting advocacy, managing program compliance requirements, and assisting agencies with reporting and disbursement requests.

Seema Chavan will lead Brown and Caldwell’s funding and finance group, leveraging her experience as a professional engineer and deep knowledge of complex environmental projects to help clients secure financial aid for public water infrastructure projects. She will review projects to identify funding mechanisms, advise on project scoping to maximize funding opportunities, and work directly with clients to select and apply for economic assistance. Furthermore, she will provide counsel on how federal, state, and local funding could increase clients’ financial capabilities.

Jacob “Jake” Massman has been named district service representative of the upper mid-west U.S., and central and western Canada, for Link-Belt Cranes field service department. The announcement was made by Link-Belt Cranes Field Service and Warranty Manager, Frank Snapp, at Link-Belt’s headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky.

Jake Massman has completed his apprenticeship with the Wisconsin Operating Engineers in Wisconsin. He has 7 years of experience in erecting and troubleshooting cranes in the lifting equipment industry, most recently working as an erecting/troubleshooting technician with a large crane company. Mr. Massman has also worked as a Heavy Truck technician in the Milwaukee area. He will be located in Muskego, Wisconsin.

“Jake is well suited for this new role with hands-on work experience in the crane industry,” said Frank Snapp.

He has experience in water, wastewater, buildings, healthcare, higher education, power, aviation, transit, roadways and government program/construction management. His experience includes work on the Miami-Dade County, Florida Consent Decree Program, the Kennedy Expressway Reconstruction Project in Chicago, Illinois, and the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority Hurricane Maria Reconstruction Program.

Mace’s Americas team specialises in corporate real estate and infrastructure consultancy services and supports some of the world’s largest brands – including Tiffany, Northern Trust and Walgreens – and infrastructure clients to transform how they deliver their projects and programs. The appointment comes as Mace grows across the Americas with recent work wins including a second delivery partner contract with Metrolinx through the MCS (Mace, Comtech and SYSTRA) consortium.
