Elliott Equipment Company is pleased to announce the introduction of a brand new, 18-ton capacity tractor-mount boom truck. Designated the 1881, the unit features an 81 foot long, five-section boom. This gives the unit an extremely short 21 foot retracted length, allowing operators to use a longer trailer, increasing the volume of product that can be carried to a jobsite. Noteworthy features of the 1881 include a Load Moment Indicator (LMI) system for safe boom operation, 10% fewer fittings than competitive units and easy access to all grease fittings for easy servicing. According to Elliott Equipment Company's President, Jim Glazer, "The 1881 demonstrates Elliott's commitment to developing a full line of material handling solutions." He added, "Our engineers have listened to input from the field and have designed a machine that will allow users to carry a larger payload and therefore be more productive."
