Bauer celebrates a special anniversary – the first Bauer rotary drilling rig, the legendary BG 7, was first used on a construction site exactly 40 years ago. This first drilling rig was the prototype for all rotary drilling rigs that have now been built by different manufacturers worldwide for decades. At that time, the only available equipment for pile bores came from other construction areas and had to be temporarily converted for the new procedures.
During bauma 2016 BBA Pumps will display its recently launched dewatering units. The lineup consists of new 101 mm (4”), 203 mm (8”), 305 mm (12”) and 508 mm (20”) pump units. The main focus went to the reduction of the carbon footprint. All units are equipped with the cleanest highly regulated diesel engines to comply to the stringent European emission legislations.
During 2016, Brokk will celebrate 40 years of innovation as the world’s leading manufacturer of remoted-controlled demolition machines. The first Brokk machine that was introduced in Sweden back in 1976 meant a revolution in the demolition industry.
At bauma 2016, the company will introduce the Brokk 120 Diesel, the world’s smallest diesel-powered model. The basic design elements remain the same: a compact, flexible, productive and stable machine with an innovative 3-arm system for maximum reach and precision. With Brokk machines, work can be done in a safe and efficient way, allowing the operator to stay clear of risky situations.
Comer Industries S.p.a. is strongly committed to offer green, safe and sustainable solutions featuring boosted efficiency and product integration.
The company‘s wide product range features efficient power transmission systems for stationary applications, such as concrete mixers and crushing equipment, and for off-highway vehicles that include complete drivelines: axles, hydrostatic transmissions and wheel drives.
Several OEMs have already planned to introduce Comer Industries’ solutions in their new Tier 4 final vehicles. Some of these will be on display at bauma 2016 including Atlas Weyhausen’s new AW1070 soil compactor and Thaler’s new 200 Series compact wheel loader.
DOLL Fahrzeugbau GmbH is a trailer manufacturer which has established itself in its markets as a high-tech specialist for transport solutions. Contractors who want to more fully exploit the potential of their machine, or their fleet, would find it well worth their while to drop in at the DYNAVIS® technology team’s exhibit at bauma. There, they will hear the testimonial of Nuova Ghizzoni S.p.A., an Italian pipeline contractor, that switched an entire fleet of hydraulic excavators to a fluid formulated with DYNAVIS® technology.
Machine manufacturers are also invited to get an idea of the potential of hydraulic fluids formulated with DYNAVIS® technology. Many construction-machine manufacturers have their own programs for lubricants, using their own brands.
An additional highlight at the stand is a pair of “Efficiency Bikes”, which are technically identical fitness bikes. Both drive hydraulic pumps comparable with those used in construction machines. One of the hydraulic systems contains a DYNAVIS® fluid and the other a conventional hydraulic fluid. A liquid column indicates how much more efficiently the DYNAVIS® fluid functions as the “cyclist” provides the pumping power.
Visitors at the Hatz stands will see the world premiere of the water-cooled 3-cylinder engines of the current Hseries. Hatz Systems will introduce modern generator sets and hydraulic power packs.
The already existing water-cooled Hatz 4H50 will soon be joined by a 3-cylinder unit. With a capacity of 1.5 l and a maximum speed of 2800 rpm this engine sets standards.
The Hatz 3H50TIC, in particular, is designed for the U.S. market, Canada and some Asian countries. In order to comply with the EPA Tier 4 final exhaust emission standards and EU stage IIIB, a combination of external exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) guarantees the necessary reduction of exhaust emissions. Both engine variants will extend the Hatz engine product range from 2018.

This special stand for components also offers global premières – including the in-house developed energy storage system “Liduro” and the Liebherr SCRFilter as an exhaust gas treatment system for stage V diesel engines.
The new Link-Belt HTT-86110, base rated at 100 t, will debut at bauma 2016. The HTT-86110 telescopic truck terrain crane features simple, all-wheel steer capability for optimum crane maneuverability in congested spaces. Steerable rear axles with super single tires are what make the HTT-86110 so agile and with 4 steering modes – independent front, independent rear, combination, and diagonal, this crane can move in and around jobsites with ease. The HTT-86110’s turning radius is less than 8.3 m from the centerline of the tire; this is comparable or better than similar 4-axle all-terrain cranes.
